Bataan green mobility hub charges EVs with solar power and battery storage

The Balanga Green Mobility Hub in Bataan was showcased on Thursday 15 October. The hub charges electric vehicles using a 131 kWp solar installation with battery storage for continued operation in bad weather. It has four EV charging stations that can charge up to eight vehicles at once. It is expected to serve up to 24 vehicles and 1,394 passengers a day. The national government plans to extend the model to more cities with local governments.
