Norwegian and Danish funds to invest in 500 MWp Pangasinan solar plant

Norfund and Impact Fund Denmark have signed agreements to invest a combined 49% equity interest in the 500 MWp Ixus Bugallon Solar Power Project in Pangasinan, developed by Vena Energy. The plant was awarded under the DOE Green Energy Auction Program 2 and is expected to supply the annual electricity needs of about 650,000 households once operational. The deal still needs approval from the Philippine Competition Commission.
